What is luxury? Well, in our opinion, luxury is all about combining true style, elegance, power, and convenience into a package that you’re going to enjoy for the long run.  If you’re in the market for a new car, you should be pretty excited over the latest news: the Chrysler 300C is coming to the UK! It’s being released 14 June, and has been re-designed from the ground up with luxury in mind.

What’s so strikingly different about this car is that it’s not being presented to you with a bunch of different engine sizes or trim styles. Instead, the company is releasing the car in just two versions: Limited and Executive.

If you choose the Limited style, you definitely aren’t going to be limited in terms of options. Many rival car companies are launching cars in this class with a lot of premium features that ultimately end up being standard on the 300C. For example, the Limited version comes standard equipped with Rain Brake Support (perfect for keeping your brake pads dry — every driver that’s used to rainy British afternoons will appreciate this), ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, an amazing Uconnect infotainment system with Bluetooth, dual-zone climate control, a generous 8.4-inch touch screen display, mirrors that darken to limit headlight glare…need we say more?

Of course we need to say more — this is an excellent car! The Limited version even comes with cruise control and 18-inch wheels.

SO, what do you get in the Executive version? Well, you get to enjoy everything that was in the Limited version, except this time you’re getting Blind Spot Monitoring, radar Adaptive Cruise Control, and a two-panel sunroof. There’s also a forward collision monitoring system and nice big 20-inch alloy wheels.

The interior is built with luxury in mind as well, giving you gorgeous Nappa leather seats with authentic wood panels on the dashboard. The body is reinforced with very strong steel and other materials in order to ensure that this is a car for serious drivers first and foremost.

Speaking of the driving experience, there’s just a lot to look forward to in the 300C. From a quality standpoint, you’re going to be getting a vehicle that truly stands out from the rest of the class.

The mission Chrysler really had was to create an executive car that had serious star power as a standard feature, not something added on. The company studied numerous rival cars before they came up with what you now see as the 300C.

It had to start with the build of the car — what you actually see. High strength steel is something that rival companies are shying away from, but Chrysler knew it would have to make this steel the proverbial center of attention.

It’s a great thing for drivers truly looking for a quiet ride through the countryside, or through the cities.

What about equipment? That’s where this car really shines brightly. We really like the idea of a Keyless Enter ‘n Go system, which employs electronic sensors to detect that you have the key somewhere near you. The car unlocks automatically and the engine is a push button starter.

The steering column can even be adjusted for your comfort, along with the pedals. There is a memory function so that if you have multiple road warriors in the house, everyone can have the car just the way they like it.

We were also impressed by the Uconnect system — a series of on-board tech that really ensures you are safe, connected, and comfortable on the road. All of the information you could ever need is displayed on an 8.4-inch touchscreen, and you can access everything in a truly handsfree way. Voice commands are the standard, and you can also manage any Bluetooth phone from the 300C as well. [Read more…]
